MY 22 POUND PUMPKIN

Do you know what losing 22 pounds looks like??? Well, check out that pumpkin in my photo. It weighs 22 pounds!!! That thing is huge and heavy and uncomfortable to hold. I can’t even imagine that I was carrying around all that extra weight before I decided to get fit and healthy last year. Crazy right??!!!!

Last year, I was making bad choices in what I was putting into my body and it made me feel lazy, I was overweight and unhappy with myself. I wanted to make a change but I didn’t know where to start because every time I tried to “be good” for a while, I didn’t see much change that was lasting. And, to be really, really honest, I didn’t want to give up any of the foods (and wine) that I loved!

I finally decided to try a new program after a friend of mine had achieved great results. This was life changing for me. I started to feel so much more energized and noticed that I was losing weight and toning up. Now, I wake up each day and know that I will make good choices for myself. I will workout, I will work on making myself better.

I love that my “new normal” includes wine and treats and lots and lots of healthy, whole foods. I’ve learned that I don’t need to eat perfectly every day, but that I have to be good 80% of the time. Then I can earn those yummy treats! I can truly say that I have never felt better in my whole life than I do now. And the best part is, I’m still a work in progress!

Are you looking to get back on track with your health and fitness? Do you want to feel better in your own skin? I’m starting a new fitness challenge group in a few weeks and I’d love for you to be a part of it. We motivate each other and hold each other accountable. We also have lots of fun. At the end, you’ll realize that you’ve made new friends, lost weight, and started to feel fit and healthy. Anyone can do this program! And, you get to workout at home for only 30 minutes each day. You’ll feel energized and notice that you no longer crave all those salty and sugary treats each day. Email me at getfitwithpascale@gmail.com or comment below for more information!

MY FITNESS JOURNEY

Back in 2014, I was 39 years old and feeling so sick all of the time. I was lazy, tired, out of breath, had no energy. I was anxious, nervous, embarrassed about how I looked and how “old” and out of shape I felt. I knew going into my forties would only be downhill at that point and I wanted to be different but didn’t know how or what to do about it. But, I did have this deep desire within to make a change. I literally decided one day that I would not live like this anymore. I would do something to change my course.

Enter Beachbody and the 21-day fix. It was just a three-week program. I knew we could do it. I am great at setting goals and getting laser-focused on getting them done. I just didn’t know how it would change me. I drank the dreaded shakes that everyone raved about and I wanted nothing to do with. After a week, I felt my body begin to change. It was a very physical thing for me because I felt the anxiety become calmness in my body. My mind began to clear. I started to feel less tired and more energized and excited about life. I was working out. I was sore, but I was proud of myself. I couldn’t believe how out of shape I was. It was really, really embarrassing! But, I was determined to change that. And so I completed the 21 days. And I lost weight and a ton of inches and I saw my waist again. I took no breaks and started right back with another 21 days and then another.

Soon I had lost 25 pounds and felt amazing. And those dreaded shakes…..yep, you got it. I was hooked on how amazing they were. The Shakeology made a huge difference in how I was feeling.

I was shouting from the rooftops about this program and how it changed my life. I know a lot of you watched my transformation. I was so excited about the life changes that I decided to give back and become a Beachbody coach myself. I wanted to help everyone feel this great and take back their life.

I get asked all the time how I did it and how I keep it up. I’ll let you in on a little secret. I work on it every day. I am not perfect. I miss workouts, I eat cheat meals, I sleep in sometimes, I forget to drink my water…….

But, the most important thing is to be consistent. Everyday I wake up and remember where I came from and how hard I worked to get here. It did not happen overnight and it took a lot of hard work. And I remember why I decided to make that change in my life. This is what keeps me focused. Now that it’s been almost a whole year, everyone around sees that this is not a fad or quick fix. This has become a lifestyle for me (and Frank). We work at it every day.

I am truly a much happier person these days. No longer do I cringe at photos or worry about when I’ll hurt my back again or find the energy to do anything. Today I am proud of my hard work, excited about life, and looking forward to what next year will bring.

If you can relate to any of this and feel that desire to make a lasting change in your life, email at getfitwithpascale@gmail.com and I will help you get there.
